Designed for daily thermometer function. I haven't used it as a cooking thermometer yet. I bought this to protect my 9 month old girl while eating or drinking. And I think it's helpful. Convenient to take anywhere. I can put it in my bag, which doesn't take up much space and is very light. But the mother has to make sure he stays away from the baby because of his dangerous probe. I used it for the first time to test milk, no need to refer to the instruction manual, I knew how to do it! It is very easy to use with simple button design. All you have to do is press the power button and change the unit between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Then add it to the food you want to test. So easy! After using it several times my girl is safe with this one. I appreciate such a great product, I highly recommend it if you have children.
