Measurements: Waist 31", Hips 40", Inseam 27-28". Fits quite comfortably. The back of the waist has a 5" wide elastic section. The fit is just right so I don't have to wear the simple belt that comes with the pants, but the elastic allows the waist to stretch an extra 4.5 inches. There is enough material on the hips to keep me comfortable, but I would recommend sizing up if your hips are wider than 40 inches. so the length shouldn't be a problem the material is light after the first try on i bought the pants for an upcoming trip to central america so haven't tested them in use yet line dried them after washing them and they seemed to dry quite quickly .My husband said they looked like nursing gowns - especially in the royal blue I bought.I wanted more comfort and performance so the relaxed fit didn't bother me that much.
