Electric shock hazard! on power strips

This product burned my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone and 2 rechargeable vibrating collars. It worked fine for about 5 months and then one day I thought I could hear a high pitched hum but it wasn't continuous or easily audible so I assumed it was coming from something else. After charging my phone, my phone started overheating and would not fully charge again. Since the heat was intense I assumed it was due to the non-removable battery in the phone. Several times the phone overheated so much that the passengers in my car demanded to put the phone in the trunk because it scared them! (Me too) At this point I still thought the problem was the battery in the phone so I had to replace the phone! It wasn't until after I loaded the bark collars that I realized what was wrong. One collar became warm after plugging it in, both collars stopped working. They don't even turn on after charging with this product! The high frequency buzzing could be identified when, to confirm my suspicions, I went to different places in my house and plugged in this product! No doubt it was a problem! This thing has burned over $600 worth of electronics, if I use it with electrical devices like lamps or alarm clocks that stay plugged in I could be complaining of a house fire instead!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Annoying
