I installed this on a Mac with Catalina. The printer was connected using my own USB-C to USB-C cable as Canon includes a USB-A to USB-C cable. The printer was automatically added by MacOS and I clicked on System Preferences to "View Printer Web Page" to set up WiFi, which required an admin password that wasn't documented anywhere. It took a bit of searching to discover that the admin password is the printer's serial number and you can change it after logging in. without WiFi and cable. I enabled it on the printer's webpage via a wired connection, unplugged the cable, and attempted to connect to the printer's Wi-Fi network, which again required a password that wasn't documented anywhere that I could find. If you use the buttons to select "Wireless Direct" from the printer's built-in menu, the password is displayed and you can connect. I bought an extra battery and found (surprise!) that it seems to self-discharge if left in wireless direct mode! Guess I'll have to leave it on or charge it before I need it.
