I bought a set of LED bulbs for my 2012 Genesis to replace my burned out fog lights. Installation was easy, no need to worry about touching the glass as it is LED. The fit was the same as the original halogens I took out. One problem I noticed is the light distribution. They are more directional as they are flat and produce more light in one area than another. But it was 2-3 feet from the front of the car. But since it is fog, the shape of the light beam mostly depends on the shape of the fog lamp lens, and in my case they are suitable for that. The light output certainly doesn't exceed my HID, but in a way it adds to the overall amount of light and is very noticeable. The first thing I noticed since the bulbs are for fog lights is that the center lanes are more visible in both conditions (wet and dry). The additional light from these lamps was most visible about 17 to 25 feet in front of the car and maybe about 8 to 12 feet to each side. The bulbs are around 5000K, so just outside my HID 4200K. But who cares as they work much better than regular incandescent bulbs. Keep in mind that these are not high beam bulbs so you won't get the same lighting effect as HID or halogen bulbs which may only be used for DRL. Of course they are ideal for fog, high quality and with a range of brightness. I like them, I'll take a pair for my wife's car. Rainy weather is simply better for driving.
