I have a horse with a hoof and pastern injury. I had to soak the hoof every other day for 60 days. I've tried many other products but they either got in the way of the horse or weren't high enough for the soaking liquid to fall or spill. This boot works great, I mix the waterproofing materials in the bag then put my foot on it and hold it until it places its hoof on the inner lining (included). Then I wrap the bag several times with veterinary wrap about 1/2 the height (the straps that come with are inconvenient for me to work with). With the drinking bag on, he can stand tethered for 30 minutes and even paw several times without losing. Still in great shape after 20 uses. Saved me so much time and nerves.
