Review on ⚡ PYLE PLDS30 Triple 40 Amp In-Line Circuit Breaker: Upgraded Protection for Your Electrical System by Flip Shaw

Works well. The alleged theory of the operation could be compromised.

Pros: Broken contact, gold plated, good screw terminals. I suggest you tin the stranded wire before using the terminals. This helps improve electrical contact and reliability. Cons: The screws and terminals on the back of the unit are sealed with a piece of electrical tape. These screws and terminals are live - there is a risk of electric shock. You need to reduce the risk by mounting it on a non-conductive surface and limiting the voltage to low voltage applications. Cheap plastic, friction knobs, and levers that don't move very well are all part of this product. Sometimes when I press the button, the lever only moves halfway. I wouldn't buy it again and it's better to pay more for a better product next time. My application is quite demanding, but if you're using this for a less demanding application, this might be a good choice. However, I strongly recommend purchasing a main fuse in case something goes wrong with this unit. I make no guarantees regarding my knowledge of product design. The following is based on guesswork. My guess is that an electromechanical device depresses the start switch, which releases a spring-loaded lever (which opens a contact in the breaker). Problem: The spring-loaded lever has high friction. This can cause problems in the operation of the device. Of course they could have done something else internally, so I could be wrong and it could be perfectly reliable.
