I ordered some of these several years ago and really liked them. This time, they arrived packed tightly in a box which I believe led to the first problem--the containers were packed inside of each other and I could not get them apart. I went online to find a way to separate them and discovered using hot water and ice worked very well. Still took some strength, but I finally got them apart. I put different types of dry cat food in them and put the lid on them. Everything was fine. Then I put the clear cup over the spout. I pressed down so it snapped on to prevent the cat food from drying out. Then I had an extremely hard time getting the clear cups off of all three of them. If I had arthritis in my hands, I would not have been able to get the containers apart, let alone getting the cups off of the lids. I am hoping using these over and over will make it easier, but overall it was a lot of work.
