I received this cable so I can use an external monitor with my Lenovo Yoga tablet/laptop running Windows 10 on an ARM processor. This adapter was really easy to set up, just plug in and go - I had a stable image on screen the first time. I've tried a few different adapters with limited success. One (sold by Lenovo) was bulky but worked well. Another aftermarket adapter didn't work at all, the external monitor would turn on and off. This simple cable was just what I needed. It's small and light, easy to carry, and works flawlessly right out of the box. I also tested it with my Google Pixel 3 phone, which has a USB-C port, but unfortunately I didn't get any images on the external display.
