A bracket was not the right one, but was not needed

For Mazda 3 S 2006. The rear support has been known to fail but this one fits perfectly. Discs are like new. Changed all three in about 45 minutes. All fit perfectly. The car is as smooth as ever. The black flat metal clip in the picture is meant to replace the L-bracket on the gearbox but turned out to be the wrong shape. The existing mount was in good condition so no big deal. I suspect that it is an automatic transmission (I have a manual transmission).
