This license plate works perfectly. The plug on the power port was bad, after installing the entire wiring system through the car I found this out. I almost wanted a refund but I didn't want to take everything apart so I decided to find out. I have enough experience with electronics to diagnose the power connector ground not having a connection. By cutting that wire, simply connecting it to ground, and connecting it to the trunk lid with a self-tapping screw, everything worked fine. After that it worked perfectly. Since the mounting holes are bolts. You cannot install the license plate without fully drilling the hole where the license plate holes are and do not use it on the other side. If you didn't know what to look for, you definitely wouldn't be satisfied with this. Although the license plate frame is very durable and the camera seems to work well at night with the LED lights, most people will probably return it when they encounter this issue. It's definitely worth testing before installing to make sure everything works!
