This is the best lighter ever. I don't think I'll ever go back to a regular lighter again. I've had it for a few months now and the battery life is long lasting. I only charged it once and it still works. I use mine to light candles twice a day and sometimes to help me light the stove when things get naughty. Something about this lighter makes the candles burn faster. Typically, you apply a regular lighter to the wick of a candle for about 3-5 seconds. With this lighter, all you have to do is hold it there for 2-3 seconds. If you're like me (not so patient) and have 3 wicks, I recommend this lighter! Oh, and it ALWAYS lights up as soon as you press the button. You know how you might have to light a regular lighter twice to ignite the flame. Yes, you will no longer have this problem! I'm not sure what the expected lifespan of this thing is, but I'm sure it's a lot longer than a regular lighter. less garbage! It's a win-win situation for everything.
