I use it as a salt shaker in the kitchen. I like the look and functionality of containers. The acrylic base that each container sits on is good enough that I would buy them separately if they were available. I believe that like all acrylic paints this product can crack, break or scratch if not handled with care. With salts, I don't worry about the tightness of the containers. However, this can be an issue if you need airtightness. All in all I'm very happy to have it. This keeps my space clean and my salts easily accessible.
