They can be very handy when you need to keep your little child (young age) busy when you're waiting somewhere: in a restaurant, in a doctor's office, spare oils , etc. The water stays in the "brush" very well, but your child knows how to let it flow out (by pressing the tip), it can get a little confused. The brush storage area works well, but is glued to the inside of the top flap, meaning it's a little easier to remove than you'd probably want. As long as you don't get the pages wet, they'll dry in about 10 minutes for reuse. Overall I really recommend them. They're great for the short-term needs of keeping your child occupied, durable and the worst you'll end up with is some water spills.
