I have used many types of phone mounts and this type has worked best for me. I have 2 attached to the handlebars of my e-bike. Phones snap in and out with little to no effort and are held securely. I'm sure they won't fall out. In addition, the mount fits snugly on the handlebars and does not change position while riding. I use apps to map my travels and the entire phone screen is clearly visible. FYI my phone is moto g power and fit. If you have a larger phone, there is very little space left.
