This is a very high quality and durable cuticle pusher. It's ideal for pushing back cuticles quickly and effectively with the precision of a blade. The rounded end is for cuticles and the other beveled end is for removing pterygium or gel nails. I don't wear gel nails so can't comment on their effectiveness, but it's great for scraping away that stubborn pterygium or hard skin that's stuck to the nails after you've pushed back the cuticles. If you scrape it off fairly well without scratching or scratching the natural nail which seems like a tough job to even out judging by other cuticle pushers I've used in the past that damage my nail. It's not like this. I love that I can also use the slanted side to clean the underside of my nails - it's great for that. It does its job very well without damaging the natural nail. The double-sided pages are versatile and save you the number of tools you need for a manicure/pedicure. Definitely recommend.
