I tried different brands of vacuum bags in preparation for a cross country move. One thing I've tried is hanging bags. I thought they weren't sealed with a hanger but they were! As for the bag design, they all seemed to work the same way. We used a handheld vacuum (Dyson V11) and it worked as long as we checked for leaks before turning it off. The zipper is a bit fiddly! Don't overfill your bag. I've found that "shutting" a few times with the plastic tab provided (4+ times) gives the best seal replacement. I would also advise sealing everything and leaving it overnight. We had two that were leaking and had to be resealed. They protect clothes and save space. We were able to pack MUCH more than loose clothing, pillows, sheets, blankets and towels into a standard box.
