Update: After 2 days and 2 emails from their support team this is still not progressing. I'm wondering if their support even knows what they're talking about, or could it be a robot answering machine? Exactly the same emails 24 hours apart asking me to plug the power in. What drives this cable? I have a Samsung Note 9 - I've tried it on 3 different TVs, 2 of which are Samsung TVs, a Visio TV and a Dell monitor, with all 4 different HDMI cables, and all I have is a mirrored vertical phone screen. Yes, I can play videos horizontally when I click the video extension. But absolutely NO DEX mode! Don't waste your money on this product. The seller falsely claimed in the description that he worked on a Samsung Note 9 with DEX. I'll try to see if I can return it and buy the official one.
