OEM update I think
could have been chosen if there had been an oil leak between the engine and gearbox and it was found that they and the base gaskets were leaking into the engine valley. The filled cavity then drained through the trance into a drain hole behind the cavity, giving me a false indication of a main seal leak. I put my hand in the valley and my fingers were covered with oil.
