Go-to plug for everyday use.

Work. Very soft steel which means it's easier for an inexperienced welder to weld them to a thinner exhaust pipe. The downside is that they rust in no time. Although they may be suitable for permanent installation of a stainless steel threaded O2 sensor, if used with a mild steel plug use a high temperature lubricant or you may forget to remove the plug.
