I bought a very large size for our dog. He is very old and prone to skin problems so I need to be able to keep his bed clean, soft and fluffy. I took the filling from an old sheet that was torn, put it in this new one and washed it in half. It turned out. Next time I'll go to the laundry mat to wash everything at once - too big for a household washing machine. The pad doesn't let air through that quickly, so I left it unbuttoned a bit. The dog looked like he was on a trampoline when he first climbed into his bed.
