Works great and can be fixed by a beginner.
Replaced the 4 wire switch in our 20 year old ceiling fan. Be sure to watch the video on Youtube to understand how the switch works. First, take a picture of the switch you want to replace. You need to know exactly which number corresponds to each wire. I had a hard time getting the wires in, but using a small straight blade screwdriver I was able to get them to stay attached. Works great now.
