I wanted a back up camera for my 18 wheeler, I had a little accident backing up into a spot, and I wanted to avoid that and the need to get off the truck to look going into tight spaces. It had to be wireless, since I have to disconnect the trailer at many shipper/receivers. and a wire from the cab to the camera will not work.So I saw a video review about this camera, and after looking other ones, I pick this one for the review and the price. Couldn't be happier with my choice. So easy to install, where the hardest part could be drilling the holes into the frame of the trailer to attach the camera. I used a cobalt bit, and I had to buy 2 nuts and bolts an inch long expending about $5 at Walmart. The camera works great, I hooked the power wires with the license plate lights and presto! I was even able to park on the blind side, it will take a bit of practice, but the camera, and the lines on the screen helps a lot. They even send me a free gift, a dashboard cam that I also needed and was planning to buy next. The signal is strong, even when I drive down the road at 70mph, I still see everything behind me, and I drive a Volvo 780, the one with the big sleeper, and the signal has not problems reaching the monitor in the cab from the rear of my 53' trailer.Highly recommend this back up cam if you looking for one.
