Good quality USB hub, works great.
I bought this unit and was initially impressed with the build quality. Slim, sleek metal body, well made. I wasn't able to test the card reader, but I was able to connect it to my Surface Pro and use the HDMI output function in addition to expanding the USB ports. Unfortunately, I don't have a memory card to fully test all aspects of this USB adapter, but I was impressed with its cross-platform functionality and minimal driver installation on Windows.
