Good, heavy paper that can be used on almost any media and is fun to work with. Endless Possibilities.

This is a very good paper for drawings, watercolors and mixed media when you cannot afford professional quality paper. It's heavy and has enough teeth for watercolor, acrylic, painting or whatever your heart desires. However, I am not a Michelangelo and I am not a professional artist. I haven't tried any oils either. I have used it for drawing with pencils, double-tipped crayons, watercolors and collages. He's holding up great. The notebook comes with 40,138 pound sheets that you can use on either side of this paper without worrying about showing through ink markings, a beautifully crafted black spiral bound spine, and a heavy, thick front and back cover. I've even cut the leaves to make bookmarks and used a hole punch to add pretty ribbons and even made a baby mobile with this paper, aware of the choking hazard for little ones. I have drawn and glued beads, buttons, feathers, paints etc and this paper works great. This is a heavy weight French paper that is fun to work and create with. travels very well and the cover and back are strong enough to protect your artwork. The cover and back appear to be made of high-quality cardboard covered with a texture almost like fabric. I mainly use 9" x 12" pads, but they come in smaller sizes too. I prefer the larger format as it gives me the freedom to create larger paintings and I can always cut it out with a great German paper cutter that I bought from Revain. Paper for wet and dry materials. I'm assuming it's acid free, but don't quote me on that. It's fun to work with and you can experiment with it without going broke. . I don't know if this beautiful Canson notebook is cold pressed. I'm still learning but each of these pads have different qualities to offer. This is a great buy, especially if you're a college student who just wants to have fun, experiment, and create. I think this notebook is too good for kids just playing or drawing. Buy them a good drawing pad. Your imagination is largely limited. Enjoy! This is a really good notepad with endless possibilities!
