I was looking for a motion sensor battery powered lamp to hang in our mailbox. When I come home from work in the winter, it is often so dark in the evening and our black mailbox is very deep and sometimes the mail gets lost. This product worked great! The photo I posted was taken in daylight so you have no idea how bright it is (sorry) but it does a fantastic job of appearing as soon as the mailbox door opens and illuminating the whole mailbox, so I can see the mail. And of course, it turns on within seconds. As there are three lights in the package I also mounted one just above our basement door so that it lights up when the door is opened from the hallway and gives off enough light to see the switch. on the wall and on most stairs. This is a great little product and it works exactly how I imagined it would. Now I'm thinking, where else could I use some instant light?
