Not the best choice for flavored toothpicks.
Not ideal for flavoring tooth designs as they contain 5-10% dark wood (dark wood tastes bad). These dark wood areas are also sometimes brittle. Less than 1% of the box I received was warped. They are good for serving food, doing crafts and brushing your teeth.
