Review on Enhance Vehicle Safety and Monitor Engine Health with Audiovox Car Connection 2.0 - GPS Tracker and Diagnostics System (Black) by Bill Wieser

One of the most annoying services I've ever encountered!

It was very difficult to get activated at AT&T and select the correct plan. Once properly coded into the system, it worked all day. Then, judging by the instrument, my car sat in my garden for more than a year. Then last month I suddenly got a barrage of notifications and it showed my son driving to work at 3am at 3am (actually it was sent at 10pm) and it's been "sitting in my driveway" ever since. All the lights are on constantly, indicating it should work and has cellular coverage, but nothing. je. transmits. I switched it to another car tonight to rule out the possibility that it was a car. I waited to make sure it was connected and registered, then drove 30 miles and drove back to my other son's work to pick him up. Judging by the device, the car was still in front of my driveway the entire time. I had several conversations with both AT&T and Agnik (Car Connection 2.0 folks) and finally got a response that the unit is defective and that I should request a replacement. I was given an Audiovox phone number to request an RMA and no one NEVER answers that phone number regardless of the day of the week OR the time of day. I absolutely don't believe this is a device as it obviously gets a good connection and everything and a few minutes on the Car Connection 2.0 website would lead anyone to believe that this is a downright aggressive problem. I swear it looks like this site is hosted on a 14.4 modem and it's almost impossible to make any changes. At the moment the website and the app show completely different information because they are not in sync. My device contract expires in a few months. I just want to use this device with another service in the meantime. That would definitely eliminate the problem, right? The device seems fine, but the service is unusable. It's terrible!
