Review on Women'S Leopard Print V Neck Tunic Button Down Shirt Long Sleeve Top by Andrew Sticher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

5 Stars for Leopard and Dalmation, 1 Star for black - unwearable!

I first ordered this in leopard and I LOVE IT SO, SO, SO MUCH! Later ordered in the white/black and haven't worn it yet but fits just like the leopard and is really flattering. Also ordered the black on black leopard and WHAT ON EARTH with the SIDE SLITS? I get the whole "tucked in the front, out in the back" thing we've got going right now but it is cut WAY too high! I happened to have a white shirt on when I first tried it on and it was incredibly obvious, of course. And it's not just slit, it's cut to SLOPE toward the front and back, which is terribly unflattering (at least on me). Apologies for the world's least flattering photos but there is one trying to show how high the slit goes. Another showing the gap that's still there if I lift my arms even a tiny bit when the front is tucked in (people WILL see your skin or camisole or underwear or whatever happens to be visible just above your pant line) and from the front tucked in. This looks better (actually kind of cute) but remember that you can see my skin on the side! Also one picture from the front - you can see the gap that kind of lets you know how high up it goes as it bags out to the side. And also the one from the side - you can see that the stitching on the back piece is bad and sticks out. Such a weird way to make this shirt! In fairness, I am long-waisted and it might not be quite so bad on others but I am also only 5'4" so on someone tall it would be ridiculous. Not posting pictures of the leopard or the white/black as there are lots of those and they are every bit as awesome and flattering as people say! For reference, I am sadly apple-shaped and never, ever wear button-down shirts but these are incredibly flattering and I'm so thrilled with them!

Pros
  • The stylish cut is flattering for all body types
Cons
  • The shirt may not be suitable for formal events
