Review on Tent extreme four-seater Tramp MOUNTAIN 4 V2, gray by Gabi Konieczna ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

I bought a Tramp Mountain 4 V2 at the Adrenaline sport store at the end of summer 2022. went out more than 3 times in the autumn-winter period, in the rain and at night t ° from -2 to -7. the tent didn't get wet with average rain from the evening and almost all night, lasting 8 hours, which I consider a good result. at night with periodic heating - warm (when resting in a sleeping bag with an appropriate allowable temperature). but in general - a fire tent for your money. does not flow, does not get wet, does not blow. I would like to say about the size of this tent: if you consider it exactly as a 4-seater, it will be frankly cramped for you (if we take into account 4 people of average build and 175 cm tall), you will sleep in sleeping bags snuggling tightly against each other (this not very convenient), and the outer ones will rest against the walls of the tent, which can cause the sleeping bag to get wet on the side if condensation appears. and at the same time, you will have nowhere to put the things of 4 people, provided that you do not have a second tent or car for them. 3 people will accommodate more comfortably (for three small people ± it will do), and 2 people is the ideal amount for this tent (it was for two that this tent was operated) I will explain why this is so: you have a good supply of space in a large vestibule under your belongings (if there are not many of them) and a little space in the back vestibule, which is half the size of the entrance, where you can place, for example, provisions, or things that you rarely use. but if they sit at a small table in this tent (the same people of average build are ± 175 cm), then they will be quite comfortable (this is tested on themselves and in this tent) I agree that for everyone the degree of comfort is an individual matter, and for someone a 2-seater tent is enough for 4 people, but I tried to tell specifically my operating experience and impressions of it. share your experience of operating this tent and tell us your observations and comments, it will be interesting to know.

Pros
  • 1. ease of installation 2. strong and durable aluminum arcs, unlike plastic ones (and, by the way, very light) 3. snow/wind protection skirt 4. good water resistance 8000 awning / 10000 bottom 5. quality zippers 6. pockets for small things on the walls of the inner tent 7. mount a loop for a hanging flashlight at the top, in the center of the dome 8. additional removable shelf under the ceiling for a flashlight without a mount, which you can simply put on it 9. a large number of adjustable storm guy lines, which contributes to a good tension of the tent and the impossibility of sagging 10. durable aluminum eyelets for fixing the bottom of the tent
Cons
  • as for me, the only constructive disadvantage of the tent is the non-closing ventilation in the dome of the roof, since all the warm air goes there first. Yes, this is all solvable at the home level, but I would like to see a solution from the manufacturer in the form of fastened ventilation although there is already very little ventilation here, compared to the first version of the tent, in which it is literally on the entire ceiling, but I would like to close it so that the heat does not quickly leave. without a heater in near-zero and sub-zero temperatures is not very comfortable. *I will attach a screenshot with the location of the ventilation on the dome of the inner tent. and for me the inability to choose colors is a huge minus! if the manufacturers read this, or those who can contact them - believe me, in the color KHAKI, GREEN CAMOUFLAGE or some REED your tents will scatter like hot cakes! because many of my friends considered this particular tent for army trips, but in the end they bought those that are in khaki and camouflage (of course, their characteristics are many times worse than that of this tent) and I don’t think that the red tent more practical than camouflage *I will attach a couple of photos with the desired colors
