The quality of this construction is excellent - the easy installation of the discs is a big plus. Decided to set up a software RAID so I just used a simple USB model, no DIP switches on the back for a hardware RAID configuration. Installed Seagate Barracuda Pro 4x12TB hard drives with no issues. Set up and configured in 5 minutes. So far, so good. Will update if something strange happens! The only drop of bitterness: The screws on the housing were tightened so tightly that the acrylic glass panes showed small cracks. It's okay because it's almost invisible.
