Review on πŸ”§ Explore the Versatile LEATHERMAN Super Tool 300 Multitool: Premium Wire Cutters, Saw & Leather Sheath by Bill Howard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A fantastic multi-tool that's stronger than you

I have many multi-tools and I firmly believe the Leatherman is a value for money. You might get confused when you see a Leatherman for around $100 or more and then see other Revain multi-tools for $20. "Why would I pay five times as much for Leatherman?" Let me tell you. I've had a few cheap fakes and they tend to break just when you need them most. I've spent over $100 on cheap multi tools when I should have just spent a little more and bought a Leatherman to begin with. In the long run, the costs are the same. Leatherman stands the test of time and you can count on its quality and reliability. You know what I'm talking about. Now for SuperTool 300. This tool is a beast! Differs in quality and durability. This thing will outlive me. I will pass this tool (and all Leatherman tools in general) down to my kids and they will probably outlive them. Keep in mind that the SuperTool 300 is big and heavy, but not that much bigger than the Leatherman Surge. I have both and I think the Surge is a bit more sleek, sophisticated and has more style while the SuperTool 300 is industrial and utilitarian. If the Surge is the big BMW X7 SUV, then the SuperTool 300 is the Chevy Suburban. Both will do what you want, it's a matter of personal preference. Since I have both, how can I use them? Surge is my daily EDC. I carry the SuperTool 300 in my earthquake bag - I live in Southern California. I think if an earthquake happens I might need a massive heavy duty multi tool. But Surge is my daily driver. You can't go wrong with either, but the price difference is significant. My advice: do as I did and get a few different Leatherman multi-tools. Quality is addicting.
