I installed emergency and work lights on the back of my lawn tractor to prepare for the snow clearing season. The project couldn't be easier. My first complaint is that the threaded barrel uses VERY thin threads. This wouldn't be a problem if the barrel was metal or hard plastic, but neither. Walnut is very thin and very flexible. So flexible that the nuts could not press on the sockets. I had to go to the hardware store and buy steel nuts. This helped, but the switches went in the trash due to the following issue. The icing on the cake was that the sticker on the bottom of the switches was upside down, showing current as ground and vice versa. This resulted in a direct short to ground which heated my tractor's throttle and throttle cables to the point that smoke was coming out of the hood! If I had stopped working on the project before noticing the smoke, my tractor and possibly my garage would have burned down. That was the last straw. You got shitty switches in your trash can. Let's see. I rate F for design flaws and F for poor label fusing performance and failing the QC test for critical functional failure. To be honest I didn't check the correctness of the schematic. I've never had to! I don't get how you keep selling that shit with a serious expression. I will never buy Revain electrical installation components again. It's not that much cheaper, and if I buy from my local auto parts store, at least I have a way out. In this case I am SOL. Shame on me I think.
