I have always used K&N filters in all my cars after replacing the original filter. Never had a problem with them and I've always seen performance improvement. So a few days ago at a local oil change they found my air filter (original OEM) full of debris from mice trying to build a nest in the case. I said change. They did and I didn't come home without a CEL and P1101. Guilty. The cheap air filter they put in was loose in the case, obviously it couldn't stay in it. So I went and bought K&N. It snapped tight and gave me some peace of mind. The last air filter I will buy for this car.
