Good Value & Comfortable

These took quite a while to get to me, so I wouldn't buy them if you are in a hurry!Setting that aside though, these are pretty nice! The leather seems thick enough and is quite soft. It's not going to give Tecovas or even Thursday Boot Company a run for their money, but it does not look cheap or plasticky in anyway. The black gray colors is particularly appealing and has a nice patina that emerges at flex points. It is a good medium between patent leather spit polish and distressed rustic. The stitching on the shoes seems solid. though the stitching is quite pronounced and large, particularly across the toe. That's not something everyone will love stylistically. Another style peculiarity is that they are pretty low for even for ankle boots. This is also not a downside per se, but something to be aware of.The interiors are not leather and, at this price, that is fine. Instead they are a kind of microfiber which is pretty cozy.I was impressed by how comfortable they were from day one. Generally it takes me some time to break in shoes, but these felt totally fine from the first moment on. Kudos on that! One thing I do find annoying on them is that the pulls on the zippers tend to make noise when I walk. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but I feel like other zip-ups I have do not. The zippers and pulls do feel rather cheap, so that may be some of the issue. In summary, these are nice! I think they are a good value at the price, but probably not at twice the price.
