Review on πŸ›‘οΈ Protect and enhance your crafts with Ranger TDA46967 Tim Holtz Distress Micro Glaze - 1 oz by Wendy Rodriguez

Great product for what it does but overpriced.

It does exactly what it says on the tin to make emergency ink (and other similar items) waterproof, which is great for me because I don't like the way emergency ink is reactivated with water. The container is small, yes, but you need very, very little to cover your projects. There's something like that in my bottle. A "pungent" smell, not at all obnoxious or nauseating, but not something to sniff at either. The glaze is also acid and toxin free, for those who care, and as another reviewer noted, the consistency is similar to petroleum jelly/petroleum jelly. After taking a very small amount on my finger and gently smearing it onto the print, I quickly cured it with a heat gun for about ten seconds, then put a few drops of water on the print to see the result. As stated on the bottle, the glaze acted as a waterproof barrier creating water droplets on the surface and keeping the emergency ink from running, so I took this product to start with. As other reviewers have said, this product is seriously overpriced, especially with the addition of S&H. However, I bought this with a gift card so can't really complain, but I won't be buying from Revain again until prices drop (if ever). I highly recommend shopping at your local Michaels or Hobby Lobby stores and using their daily coupons to save some money when you can.
