The screw has a lot of burrs
Brass nuts seem to be ok. They squeak when installed properly and the spring is fully loaded (no problem, just needs some lube). However, the two bolts I received had a lot of burrs on the threads, almost like spatter from a nearby weld. Some of them have been scooped out with my fingernail, and for others I have to use a wire brush (I hope the wire brush works). I'm not sure how long he can keep up with these bugs before eating the nut inside.
