Warm and roomy in my opinion.

Hats always come and go with us. This fluffy hat survived the winter. washing machine and such. It's warm and roomy. My five year old son is over 4ft tall and has a head to match his size. It doesn't sting, it's washed and worn well. It is recommended to have 1 or 2 spares just in case.
