I have several slab salt lamps. I can't tell if any of them actually purify the air or alleviate allergies, but the beautiful light they give off definitely improves the mood. When I saw this lamp with wood cutouts I had to add it to my home. It's very beautiful when it's off, but when it's on it's so beautiful. The glow emanating from the saw cuts of the trees is very soothing. It has a dimmer that works great to give you the brightness you want. There are more than enough lumps of salt to completely fill the lamp. It will be a great night light. It can be used during meditation. Or if you just want a romantic glow.
