Review on Caron Simply Soft Collection Yarn, 6oz, Medium Worsted Weight, 100% Acrylic - Strawberry (H97COL0015) by Carla Anderson

Caron Simply Soft reviews seem to be lumped together regardless of color - I ordered Strawberry, Blackberry, Pistachio (all intuitive) and Pagoda, whose color someone might guess, but this turned out to be a dark green-blue color, which I simply call turquoise. None of the colors were exactly as you'd expect on screen, but good except for the Pepto-Bismol/bubblegum pink which was supposed to be strawberry. I continued my project anyway, but because the colors, although ordered at the same time, came from different carriers and arrived on different dates. UNFORTUNATELY some of the just soft stuff isn't batch dyed but some is so I had to work with a color before it arrived and I bought an extra skein locally – and it didn't match the color in the dye batch. the same name when it arrived. For this reason I downgraded the rating to three stars. Despite the fact that I enjoy working with this yarn and will wear the dresses I make, I trust that no one will get too close to the color changes.
