The color is beautiful, even, the yarn is well twisted. Holds up well and works great. It's very soft whether you're using 1 skein or multiple skeins for a thicker project. I'm making another striped quilt right now and the color goes well with the others.

I love Redheart yarn. I'm disappointed in Heather Gray's misleading color description. Jumbo skeins are described as 744 yards for Solids and 482 yards for Multicolors. Apparently heather gray is considered multicolored, although it appears to be a solid color. Lesson Learned: Be sure to read the label of each color. Color descriptions are misleading and can double the cost of your project.

I am part of the local organization Warm Up America. We make blankets for kneeling seniors who are fed by Meals on Wheels of Staten Island. I make a quilt a month. I like to use multicolored yarns and matching unis. I used gray last month. It was perfect for my purpose and went well with the multicolored yarn (which I didn't like at all). I suspect these blankets are worn by men, so the gray color is perfect. I love the texture of Red Heart yarn and I know it will hold up and keep users warm.
