Dangerous Big Crisis

When I was camping, this device got so hot it completely stuck to my trainer cord! I'm SO VERY grateful it didn't start a fire in our car! My coach is relatively new and there was no problem from the coach's side, so I'm not sure why that happened or why he didn't do his job to prevent things like that. Either I had a defective device or this thing is just DANGEROUS. and generally poorly designed. I didn't want to just splice the new end of the connector and risk something not sealing properly. After spending a few hundred bucks more, I replaced the entire cord/plug on the 50A trainer as it was completely fused to the plug and replaced the thing with a completely different manufacturer's device. Don't risk it again with another one! If you decide to buy this, do yourself a favor and keep an eye on it! I hope this dangerous situation is not a common problem with this one and doesn't hurt anyone! Good luck everyone and happy camping!
