Review on Wiha 30993 Industrial Pouch Piece by Paul Gravely

Looks like quality pliers, but the NO country of origin makes me very skeptical about the quality. Upon closer inspection, the jaws of the pliers do not close. The light is visible through the excavation surface on the slope when fully closed. The end of the needle tip cutter is good and taut, the rest of the needle tip gripping area is not snagged. I also had to measure my other lineman sets as the standard size is 9 inches. The tip of the needle is a decent length, overall the actual working section is shorter than my other brands in the 6-7 inch range. The dike would be perfect if they were managed properly. I assume made in China. The grips are AMAZING and I REALLY wanted to like this set but due to build quality issues they are being returned. At around $70 this set should have shone better than my tool cart kits it was meant to replace. Actual tool coverage in inches Milling Cutter 6.5 Needle Nose 6.75 Construction Worker 8.25 Belt Punch 5.25 x 9.25 If this set was $25-$30 I would probably keep it for myself. it, but I can not at this price. Stick to a brand that is made in the USA or is easily replaceable. SK, Mac, Matko, Kobalt, Husky, Stanley, Proto. I cannot recommend Wiha more highly.
