I bought this set of spoons because it was advertised as hard. the weight of the product that needs to be moved from the bottom of the pan while stirring. It took me a full 2 minutes to see them flex under pressure and what's worse the ends are less than arm's length stable. This means the end of the spatula will bend, making the tool even less useful. They fit standard cooking and the material feels good. However, they are NOT a fixed element in terms of structural integrity. You can handle just preparing a regular sized meal for a small family without damaging the steel underneath. Due to my disappointment I received this set as an alternative and I have no problems! They are beautiful and durable with no staining/corrosion after being washed in the dishwasher. Very happy with the exchange.
