I paid twice as much for the same alternator at the local shop, it made sounds like a playing card in bicycle spokes being turned by hand. Even had major issues with the exchange which resulted in a refund. Found this generator same day for half the price I paid. In the end it definitely worked. :) Worked great for my Bronco 81 alternator upgrade. The stock 60 amp alternator just didn't match the winches, stereo and all. There was even a printout with the output current!
