The patterns are unique and adorable. The knitting direction is pretty straight forward, although I found a few mistakes in the pattern. However, assembling the template pieces is poorly explained, making it difficult to understand how the origami-like pieces fit together to create the final product. Luckily I've been knitting for 45 years and have a lot of experience, so I managed to create a wonderful mandrill monkey, but that was mostly despite the scheme in the book. quite expensive and different but need a rest from my mandrill experience!
