Review on 🍷 BENOSS Industrial Wall Mounted Wine Racks - 23.6 inch with 5 Stem Glass Holder - Metal Hanging Wine Holder - 2 Tier Rustic Metal Hanging Wine Rack - Wood Shelf Wall Shelf by Catherine Maldonado

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Badly done by people who don't understand what it's for

First I'd like to note the positive points: It's fairly easy to assemble and looks nice from a distance. When properly installed it will also hold any wine, liquor and glassware you can place on it. Now for the cons. Not sure if I have a bad block or if they are all like that, but mine was mismade in two places, poorly finished, and the wine glass holder only fits very small glasses. I wanted to add pictures to illustrate these issues but there is no way so I will try to generalize. The flaws are that the tabs for attaching the top shelf are welded to the bottom of the holder leaving about a 3/8 inch gap between the shelf and the tab. Also, the tabs used to attach the stand to the wall are welded to the wrong surface, so the tabs don't sit against the wall, meaning they have to be bent to attach the mounting screws. The welding is of poor quality leaving large gaps between the parts when they should have been flush. The most frustrating mistake is that the dish holders are too close together, so you can only put the smallest glasses next to each other. What should have been a 5 cup holder is actually a 3 cup holder. All they had to do was spread the retainers apart another half inch and it wouldn't have happened. That's why I say whoever built or designed this didn't know what it was for and probably copied someone else's design. I contacted the seller about the incorrectly manufactured top shelf bracket but their only solution was to return the item for a replacement (which I assume is the same).

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
Cons
  • Reliability
