The only thing we liked about this product is that if any of the power connectors on the connected devices (we had one connected incorrectly) are connected incorrectly, the entire device will shut down . I think that's both a good and bad thing as it won't destroy itself or your hardware, but it might lead you to believe that the problem is power related. I didn't see anything about it in the documentation, but honestly we didn't look closely at the guide, so here it is. Otherwise, this outlet is plugged in and doing a great job of running the various 12 volt appliances in our home. (Window blinds, Zwave sensors, cameras, etc.). Just watch the load and see if all of these circuits are properly connected and working. One tiny thing will stand in the way of power. This power supply was cheaper and never tripped a switch, which actually makes me feel a little safer when tucked away in a hard-to-reach space.
