I've had #11 for years and it no longer works either. It seems my legs have gotten worse due to roughness and flaking. My husband says it's from wearing sandals all the time, but I won't leave them, so I understand. Works very well. I've even used it on both boards I have and haven't pre-wet. If your feet are wet, this simply wipes away the dead and rough skin. It's not as smooth on dry feet and I don't care about the noise it makes, but it helps smooth things out just enough so they don't snag on socks. It takes very little pressure to see the difference.
