Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Taylor Leave-in Meat Thermometer: 3-Inch Dial, Stainless Steel - Oven-Safe Analog Dial for Grill, BBQ, and Kitchen Cooking by Christine Gauthier

Good and easy to read.

This thermometer has a very large face and hand area, so small changes in temperature cause noticeable hand movement for accurate readings. There is no mark below 120f, but the marked area is ideal for cooking or brewing meat as the temperature gradations are marked down to a degree f. There are no markings in Celsius. If you want maximum accuracy, there is a way to calibrate a thermometer. Mine seems to differ by less than a degree f and is very reproducible. It will slowly rise and stabilize at temperature, which isn't a problem if you leave it in the cut of meat while it's cooking. If you just stick it in something, you'll see the needle move quickly, but the closer you get to temperature, the slower the needle moves (as you'd expect). It happens, but it will try your patience a bit if you're used to fast-acting digital devices.
